Responsibilities of the job include:                                                         

  • In-charge of full financial reporting - management and group reporting (including month-end closing, preparation of monthly financial & management reports, group consolidation, annual financial statements and etc), business performance review, periodic forecast and budgeting. 
  • Perform financial analysis to support management in decision making as well as process improvement recommendations. 
  • Responsible for cash flows monitoring and forecasts.       
  • Responsible for accurate and timely tax compliance and reporting requirements (including timely filing of tax returns and tax payments).   
  • Monitor day-to-day financial operations including providing support to Country Director, local team and management team.   
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors, tax agent and external lawyers.         
  •  Undertake financial management initiatives, strategic analysis and assisting with strategic planning
  • Support any other ad-hoc assignments as required                    

 Education And Experience Requirements:                                                             

  • Three to five years of experience in a similar position; experience with operations preferred.    
  •  Minimum 2nd class and upper for degree in accounting.    
  • With professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, ICAEW or CA will be preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.           
  • IT savvy - advance proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel & Words with the ability to work with Lookups, Pivot Tables and graphs.          
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good understanding of accounting standards and tax rulings.    
  • Self-motivated, team player, dynamic with mature personality and able to work under minimum supervision.                                                           
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and able to cope with changes.
